Why a bespoke dental waiting room video is a no-brainer when it comes to marketing your dental treatments.

Dentists have a lot to think about when it comes to their patient waiting rooms. It should be a place that’s welcoming, comfortable, relaxed and calm. It also provides a unique opportunity to communicate to patients. The question is, do you offer useful information such as oral hygiene tips and opening hours or do you convey marketing info and try and sell more dental treatments? And how do you get your message across in way that protects the ambiance you want to offer your patients?

FooCo has a cost effective solution to all these questions and a product to deliver the best of all worlds.

Web video is becoming the must-have marketing tool for dentists and we’ve been filming on location at dental and orthodontic practices for over 12 years. It means practices can have their own video infomercials showcasing their expertise, staff, environment and satisfied patients through their websites and social media platforms. It also means they have bespoke footage that can be edited for a different screen, in a different place and to a different audience.

Where web video marketing is about generating new patients; waiting room video is about talking to those patients once they’re signed-up.

At FooCo we use the footage from the practice filming day as the base for the waiting-room video so it’s immediately a very personal message from you to your patients. The full service is as follows.

Agree the brief. You tell us what you want to communicate. This often includes treatment information; implants, ortho, teeth whitening, botox etc etc. Offers; “Ask Sue at reception about today’s teeth whitening offer” . Staff Bios; introduce your staff and let patients know what role they have at the practice. Oral hygiene; tips on brushing, flossing and how to maintain healthy teeth. Social media; like us on Facebook today. Testimonials; patient satisfaction and endorsement “dental implants changed my life” The list goes on…

We then create a storyboard and image list to compliment the video footage we already have.

Once the storyboard is signed-off we edit the waiting room video, send proofs and revise until final sign-off and delivery.

We recommend videos are subtitled so there’s no looping soundtrack and patients who’d rather not listen don’t have to.

FooCo’s waiting room videos are personal, bespoke and effective.

“Our waiting room video is very popular with our patients and we are getting lots of enquiries about cosmetic treatments”
